# Welcome

DjangoCloud deploys your Django project to AWS with one command. You skip the Dockerfiles, load balancers, certificates and server setup, and keep every release saved so you can roll back.

```bash
pip install djangocloud-cli
djangocloud login
djangocloud deploy
```

The CLI is [`djangocloud-cli` on PyPI](https://pypi.org/project/djangocloud-cli/). Nothing to change in your project. Your static files, HTTPS and database migrations are taken care of.

## Where to start

* **New here?** Follow the [Quickstart](/django-cloud-docs/getting-started/quickstart.md).
* **Curious how your app is run?** Read [How your app is run](/django-cloud-docs/how-it-works/how-your-app-runs.md): uvicorn or gunicorn, static files, health checks and what we add to your settings.
* **Want deploys on every push?** [Connect GitHub](/django-cloud-docs/getting-started/github.md).
* **Wondering what is and isn't supported?** Read the [known limitations](/django-cloud-docs/reference/limitations.md) before you build on it.
* **What does it cost?** See [Pricing](/django-cloud-docs/reference/pricing.md).
* **Stuck?** Come to [Slack](/django-cloud-docs/community-and-support/support.md).

{% hint style="info" %}
DjangoCloud is in early access. Some features are still being finished, and the pages say so where it matters.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://django-cloud.gitbook.io/django-cloud-docs/readme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
